The Aspect Wars (mobi)
Caasi Oztürk and Amos Kelson are on a collision course. Both born with a natural affinity for the magic of their world, their love, their actions, and their hate will reshape two nations.
National and racial tensions are at a fever pitch in Ak'kadan, Caasi’s home country. With every new acquisition, the Desert Princes solidify their grip on the south. They enslave and subjugate their enemies, vast armies striking fear into the hearts of the last remaining free peoples. Caasi must navigate a treacherous caste system that does not hold women in much higher regard than property. The only escape: to become a Ferozi sorcerer. But even if she can attain that pinnacle of status, she must still find a way to free herself from the yoke of the sand lords.
Amos Kelson knows an entirely different way of life. In the north, the nation-states of Deralia boast relative freedom and equality for all citizens. That freedom is not without a cost though. Powerful houses and clans feud constantly, warring for money, power and status. Looking for his own way out of the merchant class, Amos joins the School of the Elements seeking to be his own master. His path is soon beset by tragedy, and Amos must find a way to reconcile his old life with his new.
The Aspect Wars takes place in the dark and gritty world of the Fist of Etan series, hundreds of years prior to the events of that story. Amos and Caasi live in a time when magic is ripe and powerful. The very energy of the world is theirs to mold. Theirs, and every other would-be-sorcerer.
